Understand your requirements
Every project begins with a thorough understanding of your operational requirements, technical specifications and long-term objectives.
We deliver complete hydraulic and engineering projects – from concept and design to manufacturing, installation and commissioning. With strong expertise in system design, modernization and aftermarket solutions, we help our customers improve performance, extend equipment lifetime and reduce downtime.
Every project begins with a thorough understanding of your operational requirements, technical specifications and long-term objectives.
Drawing on decades of hydraulic expertise, our engineers design reliable, efficient and durable hydraulic systems.
Our commitment extends beyond project delivery through commissioning, technical support and lifecycle services.
At the heart of OE Systems’ WaveMove wave energy converter is a compact subsea module containing the hydraulic, electrical and control equipment required to manage movement and convert wave energy into usable power. HydTec transformed the developing concept into manufactured and workshop-tested hardware through detailed engineering, 3D packaging, custom fabrication, system integration and commissioning.
Learn moreHydTec developed a scalable hydraulic power-unit platform for EDTAB’s electrical test systems and has subsequently engineered and manufactured recurring batches in 110 kW and 160 kW versions. Each unit is assembled, configured and commissioned before delivery, with unit-specific hydraulic documentation and, for recent builds, verified pressure, flow and hose-test records.
Learn moreAs part of the electrification of M/F Lasse Maja III, HydTec replaced an ageing, continuously running hydraulic power system with a demand-driven solution. The new system supports the vessel’s vehicle ramps and gates while improving system control, serviceability and compatibility with the ferry’s new electrical architecture.
Learn moreFor Ö-varvet’s series of 12-metre Emblad-class rescue boats, HydTec has developed an integrated hydraulic solution for waterjet steering and reversing functions and a hydraulically driven firefighting pump. HydTec’s scope covers system and detailed engineering, component and material supply, custom manufacturing, preassembly and testing, as well as onboard installation and commissioning. For each vessel, the completed installation is verified together with the shipyard, and the documentation is updated to reflect the final configuration. Experience from each delivery is carried forward to improve the design, manufacturing and installation of subsequent vessels.
Learn moreHydTec developed a common hydraulic lifetime-extension solution for the Swedish Coast Guard vessels KBV 201 and KBV 202. A compact, electrically driven HPU replaced the distributed and weight-intensive supply concept, achieving a substantial reduction in system weight and footprint while enabling a highly accessible, service-friendly installation in the forward section of each vessel.

HydTec undertakes projects involving hydraulic power units, manifolds, pump and motor assemblies, mobile service equipment, vessel systems, retrofits, control integration, and customer-specific machinery. The scope ranges from technical support to engineering, manufacture, installation, testing
and commissioning.
A project starts by defining the required function, operating conditions, interfaces, constraints, acceptance criteria, schedule and documentation. HydTec reviews the available material and identifies the measurements or decisions needed before engineering or quotation can be finalised.
HydTec can survey the real installation and reconstruct an as-built hydraulic basis. This may involve tracing functions, checking components, taking photographs, measuring critical interfaces and reconciling drawings with what is physically installed. The decisive dimensions, functions and interfaces are verified before a retrofit is designed, procurement is released or a replacement is recommended.
A modernisation may replace obsolete components, change pump control, improve filtration or cooling, revise piping and add monitoring while preserving the required machine functions. The existing system is assessed first so that hidden dependencies, emergency functions and safety interfaces are not lost. Technical changes are treated as a system decision rather than as isolated component substitutions.
Compact installations require coordinated packaging of hydraulic, mechanical, electrical and control equipment within the available envelope. HydTec considers service access, lifting, pipe and hose routes, heat, mounting, weight and later maintenance together with the required function. 3D design can support coordination and review, but uncertain site dimensions still need to be verified before release.
